The first Formula Student team at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and the overall champions of Formula Bharat Dynamix 2025.
We are students who design, build and race a Formula Student car. Every decision is made on paper and proven on track.
Hadron Motorsports started in 2022 with no previous cars and no senior team to learn from. We built the first one ourselves.

A simulation tells us what the car should do. The data logger tells us what it did. The gap between the two lines is where the next design change comes from.

The team
Six disciplines.
One car.
Every Formula Student car needs the same disciplines to come together. Pick one to see what it does.
Vehicle dynamics
Suspension geometry, tyre behaviour, kinematics and setup. This group decides how the car turns every driver input into grip.
Simulation and track testing run side by side, so a setup change is tested against data and not opinion.
Powertrain
The engine or motor, the drivetrain and everything that moves power from the source to the tyres.
Reliability comes first. A car that finishes endurance beats a faster one that does not.
Aerodynamics
Wings, undertray and bodywork. Aero turns airflow into downforce that works harder the faster the car goes.
Every surface is justified by a number, and checked by a simulation before anything is cut.
Chassis and structure
The frame or monocoque that carries the driver and every other system, built to the rules and to the lightest weight that stays safe.
Stiffness, crash structures and manufacturability are all balanced here.
Electronics and data
Wiring, sensors, the data logger and the dashboard. This group gives the rest of the team the measurements they need.
If the car cannot be measured, it cannot be improved.
Business and media
Sponsorship, finance, outreach and the design events. The car only gets built when the funding arrives.
